Cart Deliveries Delayed

Due to a mechanical breakdown at the supplier producing the carts, the delivery of the curbside collection carts to the Town of Oliver has been delayed to mid July.

As of July 2, please use the new scheduled day for collection (Monday or Friday)

Continue with bags or cans as you have previously.

When carts arrive, you may begin to use them immediately.  https://www.wasteconnectionscanada.com/penticton/announcements

The collection of garbage, recycling and yard waste will become automated on July 2, 2018.  Automated waste collection is becoming the standard for curbside garbage pick up and it is an efficient and safe program.  Carts have proven to be a clean and convenient way to roll your waste to the curb.  The new automated carts will be delivered in mid-June, watch for three separate delivery drops as each type of bin will be delivered individually.

The new 2018/2019 calendar will be delivered to your door during the month of June.  Pick up days as of July 2, 2018 will be Monday if your property is located north of Fairview Road and McKinney Road and it will be Friday if your property is located south of Fairview Road and McKinney Road.
